Bottas feels greater “human effect” on F1 car performance at Alfa Romeo

Bottas joined Alfa Romeo for the 2022 season after spending five years with Mercedes, scoring 10 wins for the Silver Arrows and helping it to win the constructors’ championship in every season he was at the squad.

But despite taking 20 pole positions, including on his third outing for the team in the 2017 Bahrain GP, the Finn was never able to compete on a regular basis with team-mate Lewis Hamilton, who won four drivers’ titles during their time together.
